Martedì 5 settembre 2023, in occasione degli ELLE Style Awards 2023, la designer scomparsa lo scorso dicembre è stata insignita del Lifetime Achievement Award. Il premio è stato consegnato dall’amica e attivista Bianca Jagger al marito di Vivienne, Andreas Kronthaler, e alla nipote, Cora Corré, che hanno colto l'occasione per parlare delle cause che stavano a cuore alla stilista.

‘I admired Vivienne – her courage, her talent, her sense of humour, her unflinching commitment to speak truth to power. Vivienne was always able to make her voice heard. I learned so much from her. She is a role model for millions of young people throughout the world and she was a role model for me, too. Besides being one of the greatest fashion designers in the world, Vivienne was a champion of the environment. She broke barriers on the conversation around climate change. She didn’t have a sense of limitation – the sky was the limit to what she could do to communicate her message.’  - Bianca Jagger

 ‘As London Fashion week approaches – an important trade fair for most people in this room – there is at the same time another trade fair taking place in London at the excel centre in Stratford from 12th-15th September called DSEI. DSEI is supported and organized by the British Government. A whole department within the civil service to help organise, promote, sell and supply arms and other killing equipment. This is an international arms trade fair that invites buyers from countries with dire human rights records, who have committed unspeakable atrocities directly targeting the innocent. A trade fair we don’t seem to hear of and one right on our doorstep. One way you could help tonight, is to give your support and encouragement to our Mayor Sadiq Khan to renew his efforts to shut down this Arms fair. My grandmother, through her fashion and activism, reached out to encourage us all, bring understanding to the importance and impact we can have as individuals and how that power can be multiplied when we come together.’ - Cora Corré
